Smartphones have become part of our everyday lives, allowing us to control many of the devices and systems in our homes. HotSpring spas are following this evolution with a solution that lets you remotely control and monitor their main functions.
This new technology makes everyday spa use easier and is particularly useful when travelling or when your spa is installed at a second home.
Your spa on your smartphone
Once the Connected Spa Kit has been installed and paired with the HotSpring Spas app, the spa’s main controls can be accessed directly from your smartphone.
You can adjust the water temperature, control the jets and lighting, start a cleaning cycle or activate energy-saving mode. The app also lets you check the status of your spa and configure personalised alerts.
This means you can prepare your spa before using it or simply check that everything is operating normally without having to be next to it.
Particularly useful when you are away
The Connected Spa system is especially useful when your spa is installed at a second home or when you are regularly away.
From your smartphone, you can remotely check its operation and monitor certain settings. This gives you additional information about the condition of your spa between visits.
Remote connectivity is, of course, an additional convenience and does not replace physical checks and regular spa maintenance. HotSpring also makes this clear in its operating recommendations.
FreshWater® IQ and Connected Spa: keeping an eye on your water
Integration with FreshWater® IQ makes the system particularly useful for spas equipped with this technology.
FreshWater® IQ regularly analyses the spa water. Through the HotSpring Spas app, you can check pH, chlorine and salt levels and see when an adjustment is required. On compatible configurations, the app can also be used to remotely activate dosing for water treatment.
Monitoring your spa water therefore becomes easier: instead of discovering an imbalance just when you want to use your spa, you receive regular information about its condition.
Assistance directly in the app
The HotSpring Spas app is more than just a remote control. It also includes an AI-powered assistant that is available whenever you need it.
It provides information and personalised assistance with the use and maintenance of your spa.
This makes everyday spa ownership even easier, particularly when you have a question about a setting or maintenance procedure.
Which HotSpring spas can be connected?
The Connected Spa Kit is an option installed by RM-Spas. It is compatible with Highlife® and Limelight® spas from model year 2024 onwards, as well as Hot Spot® spas from model year 2025 onwards. The system also requires a suitable connection between the spa and the home network.
The HotSpring Spas app is available in several languages, including English and French, and is designed for use on smartphones.
